House Fire on S Dupont Hwy.

On Wednesday morning just after midnight Station 47 along with Tanker Company and Ambulance 78(Greenwood), and KM8 were alerted for a house fire on S. Dupont Hwy. Station 50(Harrington) was later added to the assignment. Command 47 (Asst. Chief Greenlee) went on scene to find a working alarm. The crew from Rescue 47 arrived and advanced an attack line thru the front door and put a quick knockdown on the fire. Additional arriving units assisted with interior operations and ventilation. Units responding; Command 47, Rescue 47, Engines 47-4, 78-4, 50-1, Tankers 47-3, 78-5, 50-2, BLS B-78, KM8. Engine 48-4 Stood by at Station 47.
